Urdu Class

Teacher- Sister Aliya

1st period: Be prepared to read simple Urdu stories (like the ones we read in class). You will be evaluated on fluency and comprehension

2nd period: Students please check the three links below as those sheets are also need to be reviewed
3rd period: Prepare an Urdu talk/speech where you discuss your favorite book/movie, using at least 15 complete sentences in Urdu. Be well prepared; you will not be able to read aloud. The content of you speech should be substantial. Give examples for why you like that book/movie and draw some comparisons.

1st period:Review the following vocabulary words: Cat, owl, butterfly, rabbit, turtle, umbrella, kite, key, apple, grapes, milk, sun. Parts of a plant: Flower, leaves, roots. Counting numbers till ten.
Students should also be able to recognize the first six alphabets of urdu.
2nd and 3rd period: Attached work sheets are for the last two classes and Aliya's 2nd period urdu class as well. All students should be able to write their full names in urdu.
