In April 1997, the Muslim Community of Northeast Atlanta, launched an ambitious project to start a program towards fulfilling community needs. An organization was established as Zainabia Non-profit Inc, through which a property was purchased as "ZAINABIA ISLAMIC EDUCATION CENTER." This center is where Muslims can practice and propagate the teachings of our Prophets and his Ahlul-Bai't to the upcoming generation. This center will serve as a focal point for the Northeast Atlanta's Muslim community, and provide all the adults and children a sense of belonging.

For the last 25 years, there has been a steady growth of the Muslim Community (Jaffri Fiqah) in the Northeast Atlanta area.There was no permanent place available for the the religious activities and the Islamic education of the children. For the most part, all programs were held at homes or rented halls. The initiative of a few individuals in the community made it possible to acquire a facility to meet these necessary needs of the community.

Today Zainabia Islamic Education Center has its doors open for all muslims and non-muslims to learn ISLAM and it's value. Zainabia has events in Arabic, English, Persian, and Urdu to involve muslims from different communities.

The goal is to educate muslims and non-muslims alike on the attributes of Islam, taking a special interest in cultivating muslim youth in America. Join us in supporting Zainabia Islamic Education Center and making it a center for all muslims.
